Stocks App Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July, 2026

A. About Us

Unity Technologies SF (“Unity”) develops and publishes the Stocks App (the “App / Stocks App”).

We collect information from your device through the App, or through the browser you use to access the Website.

There is no account login for the App today. Because the App does not require you to create an account, the information described below is generally tied to your device rather than to an identified individual, except where noted.

B. Scope

This privacy policy describes Unity's privacy practices with respect to information it processes in relation to the App and the Website, including the App's weather and finance (stock) modules described below.

The App is meant to be used only by individuals residing in the US.

C. Information We Collect

Information collected directly through the App and Website

D. How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect and store mainly to provide you with the basic services and content offered by the App and the Website, and to improve your experience. This includes, among other things:

E. Maximum Information Retention Period

We will keep your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the services and content provided by the App and the Website, and to maintain our legitimate business operations, and/or exercise, defend, or establish our rights.

F. How We Share Your Information

We share your information with:

  1. Our corporate affiliates – from which we receive services such as IT, security, storage, and other internal operations.
  2. Service providers – we share your information with our service providers for purposes such as fraud detection and prevention, analytics, reporting, weather information, stock/finance data, news content, and storage. This includes:
    • Weather: AccuWeather, which provides the weather content and forecast data displayed in the App's weather module.
    • Stocks/Finance: a market-data aggregator (Alpha Vantage or twelvedata) that supplies the stock price and market data displayed in the App's finance module. These providers have indicated that Unity must register with Nasdaq in order to be permitted to redistribute stock price data within the finance module, and Unity will complete that registration before the finance module launches.
  3. Advertising partners – we share your information (except for precise geo-location) through third-party libraries integrated in the App, using ad personalization data, with the following advertising partners:
